This event will be the first in a series of label nights taking place in Odense, København and Aarhus.
Konkylie is a young Copenhagen-based indie label that balances between commercial and independent music. Konkylie is working closely with their artists, taking part in everything from visual aesthetics and studio processes, to PR and release strategies. Besides working as a record label, Konkylie both operates as an artist-collective, where their artist can take advantage of each other’s talents and as a platform striving to promote collaborations with brands, media and artists from other labels.
Uden Ord: 22:00
Entrance: 40 kr.
(There is no free admission with the Season Pass for this event)
Afskum strives to cultivate honesty by practicing both the comfortable and uncomfortable. Nothing is too beautiful to be teared apart. Afskum’s songs are not about showing off at the club, but the feeling of emptiness when it’s over – When the bridges are burned, the coke is gone and your friends are let down. With a bestial and somber lyrical universe, carried forward by ambitious beats and an honest Prince Askar, Afskum invites you to the world’s most depressing after party.
The new dream-pop project Uden Ord are projecting bodily and vulnerable lyrics onto a combination of warm organic melodies and digitally synthetic sounds. Uden Ord’s fragmented compositions act as foundationt for a prospective and vulnerable approach, that stretch from the mundane and banal to the harsh and complex. The music comes out of a basement in Copenhagen where guitar effects, old drum machines and broken synthesizers define Uden Ord.
