From Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour comes an audacious new theatrical experiment. Each night a different performer joins the playwright on stage, while the script waits unseen in a sealed box. Touchingly autobiographical yet powerfully universal, ‘Nassim’ is a striking theatrical demonstration of how language can both divide and unite us. Danish actor Esben Dalgaard will perform in the current performance. He has participated in a number of theatrical performances, films, and television series and received Reumert's talent prize in 2011.
Esben Dalgaard graduated from the Lee Strassberg Theater Institute in New York and the Acting School at Odense Theater. He has participated in a number of theatrical performances, films, and television series and received Reumert's talent prize in 2011.

Af Bush Theatre og Nassim Soleimanpour
“A strikingly gentle, humane and emotive consideration of the experience of an artist living and working in the diaspora.”
– The Herald
“Emotionally charged theatrical experiment.”
– The Stage
“An unusually vivid celebration of theatre’s liveness.”
– The Guardian
“As he heightens the audience’s sense of complicity in his art, Soleimanpour makes a quietly persuasive case for theatre’s special power to foster empathy.”
– London Evening Standard
“Surprising, disarming, and ultimately moving, NASSIM is a cleverly constructed theatrical game that forges a delicate connection between strangers in real time.” – Sydney Morning Herald
“NASSIM was the simplest and yet most heartfelt play I have ever been a part of.”
- Mediya Rangi, Performing Arts Hub
“The most unconventional theatre experience you will ever encounter…it is a play for innovators, dreamers and people who aim to break boundaries. It’s a breeze, it’s a delight, and it is a must watch.”
- Ishita Mathur, Pelican Magazine
“It is impossible to be unmoved by Soleimanpour’s resilience and inventiveness” Seesawmag.com.au
“Soleimanpour’s text is alternately clever, funny and moving. At its heart, it’s about the universal power of storytelling, and the irony that his plays have been performed in so many places except his home country.”
"An unusual, inventive and tender play –it may crumple your heart."
- Adelaide’s Independent News
